Lara J. Kisielewska
President

Lara founded Xand Marketing in 2003 and oversees Xand's business operations, creative provider alliances, and partner relationships. Her "make-it happen" expertise quickly won projects with major technology firms, resulting in dozens of successful lead generation and field marketing projects over a very short period.

Lara brings experience from the graphic design world, as owner of Optimum Design & Consulting (est. 1992), and technology publishing, as co-founder of Linux Magazine (1999) and Associate Publisher of VoIP Magazine (2004). An active networker, Lara has twice served as President of the New York Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild and once as President of the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She holds a BA in Graphic Communications, Technology, and Management from New York University.

 

John Tortorice
VP, Market Strategy

Since joining Xand Marketing in 2007, John has managed our channel marketing program for HP, working with HP channel program managers and resellers to develop turnkey programs that reliably deliver high ROI. John draws upon more than 15 years experience in marketing and 10 years experience in R&D and IT.

Prior to Xand, John consulted to Oracle Alliances & Channels and Oracle Customer Programs, Siemens Telecom, Raychem, and many others. As a computer scientist, John was senior scientist at Lockheed Labs and member of technical staff at Digital Equipment Corp. Labs, following a career in IT. John holds a BA in Philosophy from Loretto Heights College, Denver and a MS in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.

 

Robert T. Wilcox (Tim)
Co-Founder

Tim is a well-known industry expert in the High Performance Computing and Linux Operating Systems environments. Tim first combined his knowledge of mathematics, physics, and computer science as a Staff Research Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories Massively Parallel Research Computing Laboratory and The Energy and Environment research group in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

After moving to the private sector, Tim provided pre- and post-sales support and technology development at Dolphin Interconnect, Terrascale (now Rackable Systems), Terra Soft Solutions, and SICORP. He has also been involved in new product design and engineering, and has fostered product- and technology-awareness within the HPC community, which has led to millions of dollars in sales leads. Tim is a frequent HPC and Linux community spokesperson, consulted on futures of technologies, asked to evaluate new technologies prior to commercial release, and asked to assist in design of specialty systems.
